PAG-IBIG CASH LOAN REQUIREMENTS – Here are the documents needed in applying for Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) offer.
The Pag-IBIG Fund, one of the biggest government agencies in the Philippines, has multiple loan offers and one of them was crafted to address the short-term financial needs of qualified members. The said offer is the Multi-Purpose Loan offer.

Under this loan offer, you can borrow up to 80% of your Regular Pag-IBIG Savings. Thus, if you have a total of Php 10,000.00 savings, you can borrow up to Php 8,000.00.
How to Apply for Pag-IBIG Cash Loan:
Step 1 – Are you qualified? There are eligibility requirements under the MPL. To qualify for the loan offer, the member-borrower must have posted at least one (1) monthly membership savings within the six months prior.
Step 2 – Prepare your documents. There are documents that you submit to the government agency if you want to apply for Pag-IBIG Cash Loan offer. You can refer to the lists below for the documents needed for the Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) application:
For employed individuals who want to apply for the Pag-IBIG Cash Loan offer, the following documents are needed:
- duly-accomplished and signed Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
- one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
- proof of income:
- “The “Certificate of Net Pay” portion at the back of the application form must be accomplished by the employer or submit photocopy of one (1) month latest payslip duly authenticated by the company’s authorized signatory”
For self-employed applicants of the loan, the following Pag-IBIG Cash Loan requirements are needed for application:
- duly-accomplished and signed Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
- one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
- proof of income (any of the following):
- original copy of Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months
- photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR), Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registrant and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit
- original copy of Notarized Affidavit of Income
- original copy of Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details
- Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency (original)
- original copy of Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business
For overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who want to apply for the offer, prepare these documents:
- duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
- one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
- proof of income (any of the following in original copy):
- Employment Contract
- photocopy of Employment Contract between employee and employer or original copy of POEA Standard Contract
- Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- Income Tax Return (ITR) with Host Country or Government
- Employment Contract
