Rufa Mae Quinto channeled her action queen persona
Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto is featured in Netflix’s Kill Boksoon advertisement and this went viral.
Rufa Mae is known as one of the funniest female celebrities of this generation. She is known for her trademark line “todo na to” and “go go go.” Over the years, she already did remarkable projects that boosted her career.
Just recently, she showcased her other side, the action queen persona that she has. Netflix Philippines released Rufa Mae’s version of Kill Boksoon.
The video which has 2 minutes and 20 seconds running time featured a scene in the grocery store. Rufa Mae Quinto showcased her moves as an action queen when her character did not like that the 70 percent discount was no longer available.
She and the staff member at the counter had a fighting scene based on the movie. Rufa Mae shared the video on her Facebook Page. “To the highest level na ang action ! Go go groceries!” she wrote in the caption of her post.
As of this writing, it now has over 200 thousand views, 14 thousand reactions, and more than 500 comments. On her Instagram page, this advertisement for a new Netflix movie also has almost 70 thousand views.
On the official Twitter page of Netflix Philippines, this video already has more than 765 thousand views. “HOYYY MAY POTENTIAL SI RUFFA HAHA isang action short film naman sa kanya pls haha,” Twitter user @bannbanneri commented. Many netizens echoed this comment on the comedienne’s FB page as they also want to see her doing an action film.
