Recently, a resident from Busuanga, Palawan has taken to Facebook to express his complaint against an establishment in Coron, Palawan regarding the parking fee.
According to John Rhancis Nhadado, he parked in a designated parking area of an establishment to go to a coffee shop located inside the same building. He asked permission from the security guard there, who allowed him to park.
However, John was surprised when he was charged a parking fee of 300 pesos after three hours. The guard explained that the establishment’s boss was angry because of John’s parking. Despite John’s attempts to reason with the guard, he was not allowed to leave without paying the fine.
This incident has caused outrage among locals and tourists, who are questioning the establishment’s high parking fee and the lack of transparency regarding the charges. Some netizens have also raised concerns about the legality of such fees, especially if they are not clearly stated in the establishment’s policies.
The incident also serves as a reminder for customers to ask for the establishment’s policies and fees before parking their vehicles, to avoid similar incidents in the future.
