Is Nadine Lustre “selosa”?
Actress Nadine Lustre shared her thoughts on dealing with jealousy in a relationship as she also admitted that she is “selosa.”
Nadine now has a happy love life. She is currently in a relationship with Siargao-based businessman Christophe Bariou. However, in a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, the actress openly shared her belief when it comes to jealousy in a relationship.
For her, jealousy is a sign of insecurity. “Sobrang selosa ko po. How do I stop myself from being jealous all the time?” she said.
Answering the question, Nadine said that she learned that jealousy comes from insecurity. For her, if a woman is “selosa” and she is not at ease if her boyfriend hangs out with other girls who are just friends, then there is insecurity there.
She added that this is something to do with confidence and trust in the boyfriend. Nadine Lustre also cited that communication plays a big part in ensuring that trust within the relationship remains.
“You have to fully trust your partner and know that he’s not gonna do anything wrong. And the thing is with trust, you have to build it. It’s not overnight,” she said.
Nadine also highlighted the importance of maintaining open communication between partners because, for her, this is part of building trust in a relationship. She also said that if something is making you uncomfortable, it is better to talk to your partner about this as soon as possible.
The actress also said that there is no need to wait for the time that your emotion will be ready to explode.
“Don’t wait, [almost to the point of] bottling up and exploding inside of you. Just always, always talk to him. If there’s anything you’re uncomfortable with or if there’s anything that’s bothering you, communicate,” Nadine Lustre stressed.
