Elpidio Barzaga Jr. added to the initial offer of 600,000 (300,000 from Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla and 300,000 from Senator Ramon Revilla, Jr.) 300,000 from the Dasmarias City government, 100,000 from Dasmarias City Mayor Jennifer Narvaez Austria-Barzaga’s personal funds, and 100,000 from the congressman.

DLSU Student Stabbing Reward

The incentive is intended to expedite the identification and arrest of a man suspect who was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) before fleeing this Tuesday morning. According to the article, the victim was identified as Queen Leanne Daguinsin, a 24-year-old computer science student from Pila, Laguna.

Daguinsin’s body was discovered inside the rented Rolisa Dormitory in Barangay Sta Fe, Dasmarias City, a few hours after the incident. The authorities discovered that some of the victim’s belongings had gone missing, leading them to believe that the crime was committed for robbery.

The lawmaker further urged members of the public to contact the Dasmarias City Police Station or the nearest precinct if they see or know where the suspect is hiding. The Cavite Police Provincial Office earlier stated that they will not stop investigating the matter until it is resolved.
