Revilla Undergoes Gall Bladder Surgery Over “Chicharon Bulaklak”

Senator Revilla Undergoes Gall Bladder Surgery for Eating “Chicharon Bulaklak” and Oily Food

Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr undergoes gall bladder removal surgery after eating excessive oily food and “chicharon bulaklak”.

The senator recently revealed that he had a laparoscopy to remove stones from his gall bladder. Revilla stated on Facebook that he had surgery at St. Luke Medical Center in Taguig City early Monday morning, March 27.

Smiling while lying down, Revilla said “I’m A-OK. I will do some shadowboxing tomorrow” after the successful surgery. He is proud that he still possesses the “agimat,” or talisman, which allows him to endure the medical procedure.

Revilla Gall Bladder Surgery

Revilla stated last week that he experienced severe stomach pains while in the Senate, which caused his blood pressure to rise and he was transported to the hospital. The actor attributed his medical condition to his consumption of ‘chicharon bulaklak’ and oily foods.

His wife, Cavite Rep Lani Mercado Revilla, was by his side in the hospital.  He stated that he did not mean to make his medical condition public. Revilla had to use a spirometer for his breathing exercise once because he was infected with Covid-19.

“Thank you, Lord, nairaos po nang matagumpay ang aking gall bladder removal at ngayon po ay palabas na ako ng ospital🙏 Salamat din po sa walang patid na pag-aalaga ng mga doktor, nurses at lahat ng hospital staff, gayundin sa inyong mga nagdasal para sa akin ❤️God is good! Take care, everyone! Love you all! 🥰” he said in a live video.
