Gerald Anderson Shares Experience Working W/ Kylie Padilla
GERALD ANDERSON – Fil-Am actor Gerald Anderson shared his experience working with GMA-7 actress Kylie Padilla.
Kylie Padilla and Gerald Anderson collaborated for the first time in the romance-drama film Unravel. Their movie is one of the official submissions to the first Summer Metro Manila Film Festival.
Kylie will play the part of Lucy in the RC Delos Reyes-directed film, and Gerald will play the part of Noah. The movie is on mental health, a very important subject that needs greater attention, especially in this day and age.
On Wednesday, Gerald Anderson and Kylie Padilla had a press conference for their upcoming romance-drama film. It was held at Ayala Malls Vertis North in Quezon City.
Based on a report from GMA, Kylie revealed details about her leading man. She said that before becoming successful in show business, she was a fan who cheered for Kimerald’s love team.

During the press conference, Gerald Anderson also shared his feeling about working with Kylie Padilla. He said, “Alam ko na kahit hindi ko pa siya nakakasama alam ko na she’s a very good actress. I am very privileged na na-witness ko ‘yan in person at naka-eksena ko siya but more than anything, napaka-humble, napaka down-to-earth and very cowboy din kasi sa ganung klaseng shoot, kailangan kaya mong mag-adjust kasi maraming puwedeng mangyari.”
The 34-year-old hunk actor also talked about how Kylie’s skills as an actress helped her represent the GMA Network well in the film.
“Tulad ng sinabi ko kanina, madali lang katrabaho si Kylie. She’s very humble, masarap kausap, so wala namang kailangang mag-effort pa because everything just came together. Very natural. Makikita n’yo nga sa film kung gaano siya ka-passionate at gaano niya kamahal din ‘yung craft niya, ‘yung proyekto.
“She’s a very good representative of her network GMA dahil mahal niya ‘yung trabaho niya,” Gerald added.
