Yassi Pressman is choosing to ignore the negative comments
Actress Yassi Pressman asserted that she does not want to join the “hate culture” amid the negative comments being thrown at her just recently.
Yassi’s name was dragged into the issue that surfaced after her sister Issa Pressman and James Reid made their relationship Instagram official. The past issues resurfaced. Issa and James were accused of cheating when the latter broke up with Nadine Lustre.
Netizens also accused Yassi of tolerating her sister’s alleged act of cheating. It is also known to many showbiz fans that Nadine and Yassi are friends and with this, many think that the latter is betraying her friend for her sister’s sake.
However, in a press conference, Yassi Pressman stressed that there is no issue between her and Nadine Lustre and that they are fine. She also said that before James Reid and Issa Pressman’s admitted their relationship to the public, they already talked to the actor’s ex-girlfriend.
Amid this issue, Yassi received bashing. However, she said that she does not want to engage herself to this kind of negativity on social media, based on the article in Pang-Masa. “Hurt people hurt people basically. Meron din po silang pinagdadaanan, mayroon din silang mga problema na hindi natin maintindihan,” the actress said.
This is the reason why as much as possible she is not firing back at bashers who possibly will just retaliate with more negative words. Yassi is also thinking of ways to answer without being provocative. She stressed that she can answer but she chooses not to be part of the hate culture.
“There’s so many people that’s in pain right now. Napakaraming problema ng mundo, hindi na kailangang dagdagan,” Yassi Pressman added.
