Gabbi Garcia Discusses Her First Major Purchase
GABBI GARCIA – GMA-7 actress, and vlogger Gabbi Garcia revealed what her first big purchase was.
Your first big purchase made with your own hard-earned money is something you never forget. It always stands out, whether it’s a pricy pair of shoes, a trip to a dream location, or a special supper with relatives.
Sparkle talent Gabbi Garcia gets to see it frequently because it casts a soft glow on her wrist. Based on a report from Inquirer, the actress said she cherishes and treasures her Rolex watch because it was one of her first significant purchases. She said, “It’s a different feeling compared to buying a car or a house and lot because I bought this just for myself.”
Gabbi Garcia said that she hardly ever wore watches when she was younger. “I wasn’t a fan maybe because I didn’t understand the value of watches. My mom influenced me. She told me that I should invest in watches aside from shoes and bags,” she said.
She was similarly told by her longtime boyfriend Khalil Ramos, which eventually prompted her to do her own research on other watch companies. She said, “I read up on the history of luxury watches and began to see the beauty in them. I told myself I’d save up and buy my first luxury watch.”

According to the report, Gabbi Garcia finally settled on a Rolex with diamonds on the dial that was two-toned in gold and steel. “It’s special to me because it says a lot about my personality. Tamang maarte lang na may diamonds, so classy pa din. It goes with a lot of my outfits. I can use it in a formal event or even just wear it casually.”
Since then, she has gradually added to her assortment of wrist accessories and alternates between using them. She no longer leaves her house without putting a watch on.
“I always wear a watch, even an automatic one that needs to be adjusted regularly. I’m guilty of not manually winding my automatic watch, but I still wear it and realize that I feel secure the whole day.”
Gabbi schedules time while traveling so she may see what’s on offer in the shops. She said, “I like looking at unique or vintage pieces.”
The Kapuso star has a particular spot at home where she keeps her “babies.” “Kapag nalulungkot ako, tinitignan ko lang sila. Masaya naman sila d’yan,” Gabbi said.
