Paul Salas spoke about a past relationship
Kapuso actor Paul Salas said that he no longer feels bitter toward his ex-girlfriend Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial.
Paul and Barbie’s breakup was among the most controversial breakups of their generation of stars. The young couple broke up in 2018 and this became a trending topic on social media. It is because the actor was accused of physical abuse.
The actress showed photos of her highlighting the scratches and bruises she allegedly got from the actor. However, Paul’s camp denied the allegations.
After five years, the actor said that this is the time he can finally say that there is no bitterness now. In a recent interview on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s Kapuso talk show Fast Talk, based on the article in PEP, Paul Salas admitted that his past relationship brought trauma to him.
“Dumaan po sa akin yung trauma na, yung pag iniiwan ng ka-relationship, like sa girlfriend noon,” the Kapuso actor said. He added that it was added by the trauma that he got when his parents broke up.
Paul said that he did not realize that until he met his current girlfriend Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos. He also admitted that his past relationship with Barbie became so toxic.
One of the reasons he pointed out is the trust issue on his part. “Kasi feeling ko, konting time lang na may makausap lang na ibang lalaking kaibigan yung nagiging karelasyon ko, feeling ko lolokohin na ako,” the actor said after admitting that he was easily getting jealous at that time.
When Paul was asked how far he went with all the accusations against him, he said that the bitterness from that phase in his life disappeared just recently.
“Actually, aaminin ko po, ngayon lang po nawala yung pagiging bitter ko sa kanya. Kasi noong time na yun, hindi ko matanggap Tito Boy na, ilabas yung mga ganung news about me na matagal ko nang sinasabi na hindi naman talaga totoo,” Paul Salas explained.
