Previously, Labador criticized Coco Martin’s “Batang Quiapo” for interrupting those trying to make a living in the region. The vendors claimed that the taping was distracting them and causing them to lose sales.
According to influencer, the actor is causing difficulties for Quiapo vendors. He instructed him to leave the area if he did not pay for any damages and losses caused by his occupancy.
Some Batang Quiapo actors were offended by the public figure’s critical remarks against the production crew and Coco Martin.
In an interview, Coco Martin said that their production had permission from the authorities to shoot in the area.
“Nagpaalam po kami sa Mayor, sa Manila City Hall, meron din po kaming permiso mula sa ating kapulisan, sa barangay, at pati po sa simbahan ng Quiapo at mga kapatid nating Muslim. Lahat po yan [ay] naka-organize at pinag-paalaman po namin nang maayos,”
