The names of veteran actresses Caridad Sanchez and Gloria Romero are being used in fraud essential oil advertisements online.

The names of seasoned and respected actresses are being utilized in deceit and fraud in the sale of an essential oil class that is allegedly good for the mental and physical well-being of the elderly. As a result, Gloria’s daughter, Maritess Gutierrez, and Caridad’s daughter, Cathy Sanchez-Babao, sought legal counsel.

Maritess and Cathy want the persons in charge of the online company that sells essential oils using their mothers’ images to be held accountable. Maritess and Cathy both disputed that their mothers issued testimonials about the essential oil that is currently being exploited as an advertisement by a shady web company.

The alleged product, Divezo essential oil, includes a phony testimonial from Romero and Sanchez to persuade netizens to buy it. Divezo said that Romero and Sanchez benefited from utilizing the aforementioned essential oil, which promised clients improved brain function.

But, according to a report by Pep, Sanchez and Romero’s camp has already communicated with their lawyers about filing charges against the Divezo proprietors.

“It’s terrible how these alleged companies are using the names and faces of two highly respected actresses. What’s worse is that my mom and Tita Caridad are super seniors already!” Maritess Gutierrez, daughter of Romero said.

“I knew right away it was a fraud because my mom doesn’t even know about that product, and the testimonial attributed to her does not sound like her at all,” Cathy Babao-Sanchez, daughter of Sanchez stated.

They are upset that a corporation is exploiting the names of Romero, who is already 89, and Sanchez, who is 87. They also advised netizens not to believe everything they read on the internet and to conduct their own investigation first.
