Bela Padilla Reveals She Conceals Her Fear While Directing Lorna Tolentino

Actress-director Bela Padilla admitted that she is concealing her fear while director award-winning actress Lorna Tolentino.

During Bela’s new film “Yung Libro sa Napanood Ko” media conference on Saturday, March 18, Bela pretended not to be nervous when they were together on the set. As the director of the award-winning actress, Bela noted that its different when they were talking outside of the set.

Naka-setup na, puwede nang pumasok si Miss LT sa eksena,” she added, based on the article of PEP.

She recalled asking the veteran actress, “Do you want a moment? Do you want me to play some music?” which Lorna replied ‘No. It’s OK.’

The actress-director also shared that after the action, her tears started flowing, while everyone is so well-prepared and really good. Bela greatly admires Lorna’s skills as a seasoned actress.

Ang nasabi niya, The Vatican Actress,” she shared

Meanwhile, Bela revealed that she had more difficulty as the director of Yung Libro sa Napanad Ko than in her first film “366”. The “366” is streaming on Vivamax since April 15, 2022, and it is Bela’s directorial debut.

“Actually, parang mas mahirap ho itong second movie. Kasi nung first, I had Direk Irene [Villamor] with me on set as my creative director. Ngayon, wala na akong bantay. Ako na lang yung creative director. So it was my first time na ang feeling ko talaga, parang I was responsible for everyone,” Bela said.
