Ronaldo Valdez Reunites W/ ‘Cedie’ Star Tom Taus
RONALDO VALDEZ – Veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez recently shared heartwarming photos with ‘Cedie’ Star Tom Taus.
Fans of the 1996 movie “Cedie: Ang Munting Prinsipe“ experienced nostalgia when Ronaldo Valdez and Tom Taus reconnected after 27 years apart. The 1988 Japanese cartoon series “Little Lord Fauntleroy” was adapted into the Filipino film “Cedie,” starring Valdez, Taus, Jaclyn Jose, Carlo Aquino, the late Mark Gil, and Anita Linda.
On March 17, Valdez, who portrayed Cedie’s grandfather in the movie, provided a sneak peek of their reunion on his Instagram page. The actors of “Cedie: Ang Munting Prinsipe” got back together in 2017 for a showing of the Star Cinema film that had been digitally restored and enhanced.
Together with Ronaldo Valdez’s talent manager, Jamela Santos, the veteran actor, and Tom Taus dined in a restaurant. Valdez further disclosed that Santos was the one who planned and orchestrated the reunion.
“Before Eloy, there was Cedie,” the veteran actor said, referring to Daniel Padilla, who portrayed the role of his grandson in “2 Good 2 Be True.”
“Reunited after 27 years! It was indeed a great catch up!” Valdez added.

“It was truly wonderful to see you, tito Ronaldo!” Tom Taus said via the comments section. “Thank you for this special time together.”
When “Mahal na Conde” and “Master Cedric” were spotted together, fans were overjoyed; some even referred to the 1996 movie as one of the most “unforgettable films.”
