David Licauco is aware that he has to consider this factor
Kapuso actor David Licauco said he can’t do “hubad-hubad” right now and this is the reason behind this.
Just like other hunk actors, it is just normal for David to share photos without his shirt on or show some skin. However, this will change now and it is because of his younger audience.
David played the character of Fidel in the recently concluded Kapuso historical portal fantasy drama series. His character is a wholesome one and because of that adult and young viewers love him.
From that, he and his current love team partner Barbie Forteza did an episode for child-friendly Kapuso show Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the actor said that because of that reason, he needs to refrain from taking off his clothes.
David Licauco is now being tagged “Pambansang Ginoo” and so he must act accordingly. “So iyon, I mean, whatever works. I mean, kung ano yung magugustuhan ng mga tao, iyon ang gagawin ko. Nagkaroon kasi ako ng mga fans na bata because of Maria Clara At Ibarra, so child-friendly na tayo ngayon. Hindi na pwede yung hubad-hubad,” the actor said.
Meanwhile, David said that he does not want to pay so much attention to worrying about the expectations of other people. He said that he wants to take things day by day and he does not want to overthink.
“So ako, sabi ko, as long as gagalingan ko. And siyempre kailangan kong i-work on pa rin yung sarili ko with regards sa acting,” the actor stressed.
David Licauco also said that he needs to prepare if ever a new project will come. He needs to take care of himself like going to the dermatologist and working out.
