Amy Austria has this experience during a scene with Xian Lim
Seasoned Amy Austria revealed something about the “galunggong” scene with actor-director Xian Lim.
Xian is the lead actor in the new Kapuso series Hearts On Ice and his leading lady is Ashley Ortega. Amy is also one of the cast members. During a recent press conference for this series, based on the article in PEP, the seasoned actress shared a story about the lead actor.
Amy shared that she and Direk Dominic Zapata did a prank on Xian. It was her first time meeting the actor during the story conference. She said that she was drinking coffee when Xian said that he did not drink coffee yet.
“Sabi kong ganyan, ‘Anak, gusto mo ng kape?’ ‘Tapos ang sagot niya… hindi niya alam kung nainom ko na, sabi niya, ‘Opo.’ So, humingi ako ng baso, hinati ko, uminom siya. Walang arte,” Amy Austria said.
Then, one time, the seasoned actress brought “dulong” fish and she was surprised that the actor got excited when he saw it. “Tuwang-tuwa ako sa kanya, binigyan ko ng pambaon,” she shared.
Amy also shared that she did a scene with Xian in which they were eating “galunggong.” “Pinagkamay siya. In-adlib-an namin ng, ‘Direk, gawin natin yung ginawa natin nun kay Richard [Gutierrez], pinakain natin ng ulo.’ Sabi niya, ‘Sige, isama mo yun,’” the actress shared referring to the scene she did in Mulawin with Richard under also the direction of Direk Dominic.
During the take, Xian really ate the head part and he enjoyed it. “Alam mo, na cut na yung eksena, hawak niya yung galunggong, dalawa, kain siya nang kain. Kinakain pa rin niya, nagkakamay siya,” Amy Austria said.
Xian Lim said that they did not know that he really eats “galunggong” even the head but he just followed what the director said.
