Kim Molina Reveals Her Father was Alarmed with Her #newblessing Post Online
Actress Kim Molina revealed that her father was allegedly alarmed after she posted a #newblessing on her social media account.
During the media event for the reel/real-life couple’s new fun-series Team A, the actress said that her father worried and mistook her daughter’s #newblessing social media post for something serious. Kim’s father, like many other netizens, believed his daughter was pregnant due to long-term companion Jerald Napoles.
Kim revealed that she had to contact her father to clarify the situation. Her father, she claims, is already waiting for her phone call and seeking for a signal for her to clarify her social media post.
“Ang nangyari po kasi n’yan, nag-post kami nu’ng hashtag new blessing. When I posted it, I needed to call my dad agad. Tapos, sakto nu’ng tumawag ako sa daddy ko, palabas na siya para maghanap ng signal. ‘Anak, ano ‘yung post mong ganyan? Parang malalaman pa ng buong mundo bago ako ah.’ Hahaha! Ganyan,” she revealed.
There was no case in Jerald’s camp because, as he stated, he is not the sort to seek or accept his parents’ advice on anything. Kim also stated that Jerald’s mother did not investigate and appears to embrace their life choices.
“Hinahayaan na lang ako nu’n (mommy niya),” Kim added, based on the article of Journal News.
A few days after the contentious post, the showbiz couple confirmed that #newblessing is their Viva Entertainment, Sari Sari Channel, and TV5 comedy series. The Ambida family of Ian (Jerald), Janet (Kim), and daughter Yeye (Gianna Iguiron) will have their lives complicated by the meddling of Janet’s mother Violeta Bagsic (Yayo Aguila), and Ian’s father ( Anjo Yllana).
Itlog, KimJe’s pet dog, also appears in the comedy series. Team A will premiere on TV5 on Saturday, March 18, at 9:30 p.m., followed by catch-up episodes every Sunday at 9 p.m. on Sari Sari Channel Cignal Ch 3 beginning March 19.
Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles have worked together in many ventures, including the movie “Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam”. They’ve also appeared together in concerts and events.
