Boy Abunda Clarifies “Wow Bulaga” Show Poster is Still Not Confirmed
The King of Talk Boy Abunda clarified the alleged “Wow Bulaga” poster circulating online that it is still not confirmed.
During the “Quick Talk with Boy Abunda” segment, Boy made a statement about the circulating poster of ‘Wow Bulaga,’ which was reported to replace Eat Bulaga. Willie Revillame will host the show, as previously announced.
Boy displayed the poster, which said that in addition to Willie, Allan K, Bretman Rock, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Miguel Tanfelix, Tyronia Fowler and Rosmar Tan will appear on the show. The image went viral on social media after the supposed power struggle between Television and Production Exponents Inc. leaders (TAPE Inc.).
But, on his show, the ‘King of Talk’ stated that the poster circulating on social media was proved to be false by a reliable source. Tito Boy stated that his source informed him that the viral poster of the show is fake.
“Nais lamang sabihin ng aming source, isang mapagkakatiwalaang source po dito sa GMA-7 that this poster is not true. This is a fake poster, ‘yun ang pagkakasabi. Hindi po ito totoo,” said Abunda.
Eat Bulaga was verified to be facing some ‘challenges,’ according to Abunda. Furthermore, he advised people to cease speculating for the time being and wait for Tape’s official comment.
“At hindi rin natin maitatatwa, ako personal, I wanna make a stand, merong pinagdaraanang challenges ang ‘Eat Bulaga’ pero antayin po natin ang kanilang official statement. Ang official statement po ng GMA-7, ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ para malaman ho natin ang buong kwento, ang katotohanan para we can stop speculating,” he stated on his show.
Nonetheless, despite the growing problems with their show, the original hosts of Eat Bulaga, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, were watched entirely on Saturday, March 4, when they sang their noontime show’s theme song once more. Till now, many Eat Bulaga fans were curious about what would happen to the country’s longest-noontime show in the following days.
