Fans of Kathryn Bernardo did not like what Liza Soberano in a vlog

Actress Liza Soberano revealed that Hello, Love, Goodbye was first offered to LizQuen and this did not sit well with the fans of actress Kathryn Bernardo.

In a recent lie detector challenge vlog that Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo shared, Liza revealed that the current highest-grossing film offered to her and her reel and real-life sweetheart Enrique Gil.

At that time, they were doing the series Bagani but Liza said that she asked Star Cinema to save the project for her because she wanted to do the movie and so she thought she can do it later on. However, she learned that it was offered to Quen and Kathryn Bernardo and this sent a warning signal to her because, at that time, LizQuen’s popularity was so high.

That somehow made Liza worry about the future of their love team if Quen will be paired with Kathryn. With that, Kathryn did the movie with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

Following Liza’s revelations, her name, as well as Kath’s, and the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye became trending topics on social media.

Many fans of Kathryn slammed Liza because of her statement about HLG. Some pointed out that the character of Joy Marie Fabregas was fit for Kathryn and that she gave justice to the role. They also said that they can’t imagine this character being played by other actresses.

Some netizens also noticed that Liza’s statements are contrasting. The actress said that she wanted to get away from being boxed in a love team but when a project was offered to Quen with another leading lady, this made her worried.

Back in 2021, Olivia Lamasan, managing director of Star Cinema, revealed in an interview that Hello, Love Goodbye was first offered to LizQuen. Then, it was offered to Kathryn Bernardo and her reel and real-life partner Daniel Padilla but the actor turned this down.
