Girlfriend of John Matthew Salilig Grieves his Sudden Death
GIRLFRIEND OF JOHN MATTHEW SALILIG – The girlfriend of the Adamson University student who died broke her silence on his sudden death.
A lot of people were left grieving and crying for justice over the death of Adamson University student John Matthew Salilig. The 3rd year chemical engineering student was found dead after going missing since he attended the welcoming rites of the fraternity that he was a member of.
Matt is a member of Tau Gamma Phi fraternity in Zamboanga City. According to his brother, John Michael who is also a member of the said frat, he was not worried when his brother informed him that he will be going to a welcoming rites since he is already a member of the group in Zamboanga. He is the youngest among seven (7) siblings and two (2) of his brothers are also member of the said frat.
However, since then, he went missing and his lifeless body was found in Imus, Cavite a week after he was reported missing. Currently, his wake is held in Zamboanga along with the wake of his late grandfather.
Recently, the girlfriend of John Matthew Salilig, JB, was interviewed by ABS-CBN News. Based on the report, the couple first met in Clarett School of Zamboanga City in 2016. In 2018, they became an official couple.
According to JB, Matt is a loving, kind, and patient boyfriend who understands her in a lot of things. She expressed that he was always willing to adjust for her. He was her first boyfriend and she wanted him to be her last as well.
Based on the report, when his lifeless body was recovered last February 28, the girlfriend of John Matthew Salilig was called by his family to go to their house. According to JB, she was thinking that she’s gonna see him recovering. When she was told that he’s gone, she initially did not believe it.
JB expressed that Matt supposedly has a lot of plans and dreams in life. She is very sad and emotional over what happened as she did not image to see him but in a coffin already.
