Vilma Santos is looking forward to doing more projects in showbiz
Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos wishes to work with this Korean actor as she is now celebrating her 60th anniversary in the entertainment industry.
Vilma has spent six decades of her life in showbiz. She started her career at the age of nine and basically, she grew up in front of the camera. Reaching this milestone in her career, the veteran actress has nothing but gratefulness to the industry.
She said that she learned a lot from showbiz and she carried these lessons when she entered the political arena, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
Vilma was trained in the industry how to deal with different people and this helped her in doing her duties as a public servant. “Kung nasaan man ako at kung ano man ang inabot ko, utang na loob ko ‘yan sa showbiz industry,” the veteran actress shared.
Talking about the secret behind her 60 years in showbiz, Vilma Santos that it is a combination of everything – “hard work, smart work, and grace from God.” With this span of time, the veteran actress is really thankful and she is happy to last this long in the entertainment industry.
Although she already did different projects with different co-stars, Vilma said that she still has a long list of artists she wants to work with. In local showbiz, the veteran actress said that she does not want to mention any name because this might have a different effect but she said that she wants to work with newcomers.
Vilma said that she hopes the project will be as good as the movie Anak which she did with Claudine Barretto. When it comes to international stars, the Star for all Seasons said that she wants to work with Hollywood actor Richard Gere.
Vilma Santos is also a K-drama fan. She wishes to work with Crash Landing on You actor Hyun Bin.
