Vilma Santos is ecstatic to finally have her first grandchild
Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos said that her granddaughter Baby Rosie will follow in the footsteps of her parents Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola in the entertainment industry.
At a young age, Luis was exposed at an early age to the world of showbiz because his parents are veterans in this business. Eventually, he became an actor and TV host.
Vilma said in an interview, just recently, based on the article in The Philippine Star, that she is excited to have memories with Baby Rosie.
”Pero ma-two-two-months pa lang so hindi ko pa s’ya na-eenjoy pa talaga mag-momsie, or tumatakbo na, or umaarte na. So looking forward ako let’s say mga seven months, mag-one year old, nakita mong kereng-keng na.” the veteran actress said.
Vilma Santos also can’t wait to show her apo more to the public. In her recent vlog, she shared a preview of Baby Rosie. Luis and Jessy would bring their baby to the veteran actress. Vilma stressed that she wants to be called “momsie” because it is also what her grandchildren from nieces and nephews would call her.
Baby Rosi is just two months old but for the Star for all Season, she can already the potential of her granddaughter to be in the entertainment industry. “Alam mo, maarte eh! Ma-posing nga. Sabi ko, ‘mag-aartista’ to! Very pretty girl! Looking forward! I’m so excited!” Vilma said.
Meanwhile, Vilma celebrated her 60th anniversary in show business. To mark this milestone, a TV special was dedicated to her in which stars she worked with gave their messages for her like Optimum Star Claudine Barretto. They worked together in the movie Anak.
