Banat By Gives Message to Fellow Talent Manager Ogie Diaz for Handling Artists
The Pro-Duterte blogger Banat By gives a message to fellow talent manager and showbiz vlogger Ogie Diaz for handling artists.
Mocha Girls boss Byron Cristobal, commonly known as ‘Banat By,’ responded to Ogie Diaz’s statement about Liza Soberano’s 14-minute video. Liza’s former talent manager, Ogie, once responded to the actress’ complaints about her career in the Philippines.
Hope Soberano revealed that she did not have the opportunity to discuss her ideas with her prior handlers. She emphasized that she had given up herself, her independence, and her pleasure.
“Kung sinasabi ni Liza na kino-kontrol siya ng mga taong NASA paligid niya, kung ako man yan at ang Star Magic, gusto kong magpasalamat kay Liza kasi sinunod niya kami. Kaya siguro sumikat siya,” Ogie said.
“Anak, lagi kang binibgyan ng chance to say your piece, your opnion, your suggestions. Pinapakinggan ka din naman pag may complaints, pero di ba kung minsan we have to meet halfway? Pakikisama ang tawag doon doon anak, pagtatanim para in the future may aanihin,” he added.
Nonetheless, the pro-Duterte blogger advises Ogie on how to manage his gifts. Byron wanted to support Ogie because they’re both talent managers, but he stated the latter shouldn’t treat his employees like robots.
“As a manager gusto ko na sanang kampihan itong si Ogie. Totoo naman ang ibang sinabi nya. Pero minsan kasi u are handling a “human being” hindi robot ang artist.” Byron said. “There are times u impose what u believe will work pero dapat pagunawa din sa artist!”
“Artist yan! Meaning may “art” dyan. May kanya kanyang saltik ang artist na dapat unawain. Manager ka nga eh. U manage hindi you control!” he added in his post.
