Liza Soberano received support from James Reid
Actor-recording artist James Reid expressed support for actress Liza Soberano who is now embarking on her new journey when it comes to her acting career.
James established the record label Careless Music and eventually became a talent management company. Last year, after leaving her former manager Ogie Diaz, Liza signed a contract with James’s company.
Among her first projects internationally is the movie Lisa Frankenstein. Following that, fans of the actress became vocal about questioning what is happening in her career. There were also those who are apprehensive about her decision to leave her showbiz career in the Philippines and risk it for a Hollywood career.
Just recently, Liza Soberano opens up about what fueled her to have her major career move. It is because of her desire to have a voice when it comes to the projects she does and to explore other things that she has not done yet for 13 years since she started her acting career.
Although there were negative reactions to her revelations about her decision, Liza received support from her manager. Based on the article in Pang-Masa, James Reid expressed how proud he is of Liza Soberano.
“Proud and happy for you @lizasoberano. I know it takes a lot of courage to go against the grain, to choose the harder path because that’s what you believe in. Thank you for trusting us with your hopes and dream,” the actor-recording artist wrote on his Instagram Story.
In Liza’s vlog, she expressed how happy she is that her new management is respecting what she wants to do with her career. “I love the way they respected my vision and intelligence as I did theirs,” she said, adding that she was told to say what she wants to do and her management will support her.
