Here’s a list of Summer MMFF 2023 official entries.
SUMMER MMFF 2023 – These are the official movie entries of the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), its first edition.
Out of 33 film submissions, eight official entries have finally been chosen. There were resubmissions from the December 2022 edition of the festival and the members of the Selection Committee chose the Top 8 based on the following criteria:
- Artistic Excellence (40%)
- Commercial Appeal (40%)
- Filipino Cultural Values (10%)
- Global Appeal (10%)
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Chairman lawyer Don Artes and Movie Worker’s Welfare Foundation (Mowelfund) Chair Boots Anson Roa-Rodrigo led the announcement.
It was made during a special meeting held at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila in Pasig City on Friday, Feb. 24.
