It’s not a secret that Megastar Sharon Cuneta and her eldest daughter KC Concepcion have quite a rough relationship. And in an interview with Ogie Diaz, the Megastar admitted to this.
She revealed that she knows so little about her eldest. They both have strong personalities but their characters are north and south poles apart. They can’t seem to find something that will put their relationship in a stable situation. But there is one thing she is sure about, she loves her just as much as she loves her other children.
They love her equally and KC, for her, is the most special. She is her first princess and the one who made her a mother.
In the same interview, Sharon revealed that there was this person who attempted to poison her daughter by saying that she doesn’t want her to be famous like her. As a mother, this was the most painful accusation she could hear as this has never crossed her mind.
No mother would actually want this. And considering their scope as artists, both of them can do something that the other one can.
She would never wish her daughter this kind of thing. She would never and she can only pray that KC will not believe this. And above everything, there’s no appropriate reason to compare them.
“It was so shocking to hear certain things na never nangyari or never man lang dumaan sa isip ko,” she said.
She also expressed, “Nahu-hurt ako sa ganun. Yun na naman pumapasok yung ba’t may taong ganun kasama na ilalagay sa utak ng anak mo yun.”
