Darryl Yap Shares Opinion on Jesus Falcis Bad Review Against “Ako Si Ninoy”
Controversial director Darryl Yap shares his opinion on the bad review of Atty Jesus Falcis against the movie “Ako Si Ninoy”.
The controversial “Martyr or Murderer” director gave his thoughts on the Facebook post of the well-known Kakampink and anti-Marcos, Atty Jesus Falcis. Falcis’ post includes a critique of the film “Ako Si Ninoy,” directed by Atty. Mr. Vince Tañada.
Falcis assigned the film starring singer-actor JK Labajo as former senator Ninoy Aquino a 1 out of 5 rating in a lengthy Facebook post. According to Yap, many of his pals sent him the Falcis movie rating. Yap remarked on a screenshot of Falcis’s Facebook post.
“Lagpas sampung kaibigan na ang nagsend sa akin ng Movie Review ni Jesus Falcis tungkol sa pelikulang napanood niya. Nagulat ako, na parang napuri niya ako at ang dalawang pelikula ko nang hindi niya sinasadya,” said Yap.
“Pinagsabihan ako ng mga kaibigan ko na wag kong i-share ang kaniyang review, kaya nag-screenshot na lamang ako. Ayaw ko rin mag-share ng panlalait ng isang kakampink sa pelikulang ginawa para pagkakitaan sila,” he added.
Yap further stated that it will make you ponder, and you will wonder how Xiao Chua, the Goldwin Reviews, and the FAMAS maintain their credibility. He added that, despite all of their criticisms of his films, he will not return the favor.
“Pero talagang mapapaisip ka, itatanong mo sa sarili mo kung kumusta si Xiao Chua, yung Goldwin Reviews at yung FAMAS, kumusta yung kredebilidad,” he asked.
“Walang halong kaplastikan, kahit pa kung anu-ano ang sinabi nilang lahat sa #MIM, hindi ko kayang ibalik ang lait sa mga yan, kasi malinaw sa akin na lahat ng proyekto ay pinaghihirapa,” the director explained.
So his message for Falcis, “Kaya magrereact na lang ako sa sinabi ni Falcis na ‘NAKAKATAKOT ANG TRAILER NG #MARTYRorMURDERER.’ Hi Mr. Falcis, mas matakot ka sa buong pelikula.”
