Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to the recent showbiz news about actress Liza Soberano’s Instagram and YouTube accounts.

Fans got worried just recently when photos and videos on Liza’s IG page and YT channel were wiped out. Many thought that her social media accounts were hacked. On the photo-sharing platform, the actress’s posts turned zero, as well as her following.

However, on Wednesday, the actress shared her photos with a hint at what she will be doing next as an artist. For some, this is her way of rebranding herself as she is now pursuing a career in Hollywood.

In Ogie’s Showbiz Update vlog on February 23, he and his co-hosts Mama Loi and Tita Jegs talked about Liza. Ogie is Liza’s previous talent manager.

The talent manager-vlogger shared his thoughts on this recent issue about his former “alaga.” Ogie said that Liza could have just maintained her old posts even though she want to rebrand herself.

“Sa akin lang, feeling ko, dapat hindi niya na tinanggal yun,” Ogie said, adding that those posts are memories and Liza’s history in the entertainment industry.

“Yan ang dati mong mukha, yan ang dating ikaw. Ngayon, kung ito na yung totoong ikaw, eh di, that’s another chapter in your life, in your career,” he said. The talent manager-vlogger also said he is “nanghihinayang” to Liza’s career because she already has a successful career in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Ogie also admitted that as a former talent manager of Liza, he is hurt by the negative reactions to the actress regarding her career path now, that she is just a K-pop fan now. He said that he does not know how to answer these kinds of comments because he is not the one handling Liza’s career now.

“Nanghihinayang lang ako kasi pinaghirapan namin lahat ito kung saan siya nandoon,” Ogie Diaz said.
