Heart Evangelista slammed this misconception about her
Actress-fashion icon Heart Evangelista has this reaction to people who assume that she is sad because she has “sad eyes.”
Last year was quite a noisy year for Heart when it comes to gossip and speculation. It was speculated that she and her husband Senator Chiz Escudero broke up and this led to a bunch of other speculations. Rumors surfaced that the lawmaker was having an affair with someone working for him while Heart was linked to an Italian guy.
However, the couple spent the New Year together and from that, they were back to sharing posts featuring each other. With this, the Senator was teased by his colleagues about the “reconciliation” that happened between him and Heart.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Heart Evangelista said that despite the good things that are happening in her career in the Philippines and her stints abroad, there are still times when negativity would penetrate.
It is because of some people’s misconceptions. She is wondering why she is being bashed even though she has done nothing wrong. There were even those who speculated that she has a sad life.
“It gets to you, like how people ask you, ‘When are you gonna get pregnant?’ They ask you, ‘Oh, you’re not really happy because you have sad eyes.’ Dear, mabigat lang ‘yung lashes ko! You know, nakakainis,” the fashion icon said.
Heart also stressed that this is her life and to those assuming that she does not want to be a mother, she said that she was a mother already. The actress had a miscarriage and she lost her twins.
“Bubuklatin niyo ba ulit ‘yung buhay ko again and again? What, do you want me to cry blood or something to satisfy you? It’s not like that,” she stressed.
