Heart Evangelista started celebrating her birthday even before February 14
Kapuso actress/fashion icon Heart Evangelista received this unique gift from her husband Senator Chiz Escudero.
February is Heart’s birthday month. Even before February 14, the Kapuso star started celebrating with her family and friends. She has been sharing videos of her birthday parties on her Instagram page.
One of the recent Instagram posts featured her statue. In the caption of her post, she shared the story behind this. Heart shared that 17 years ago, she did the series Hiram Na Mukha when she was still in ABS-CBN. The series aired in 2007.
In the said series, Heart Evangelista played the character of Carissa who is being ridiculed because of her face. She was being called the “monkey girl.” She had to wear prosthetics on her face and so a molding of her face was taken.
“I was 21 years old… through the years I always wondered where the molding was,” she shared. The fashion icon said that she mentioned this to her husband three years ago. Now, that molding of her face was found.
Sen. Chiz commissioned an artist and the result was a beautiful statue. She thanked her husband for this wonderful gift. “He was able to locate the original cast [white heart emohi]and had it commissioned by one of my favorite artists @ferdiecacnio [white heart emohi] amazing 🙂 the happiest birthday indeed thank you @escuderochiz,” Heart wrote.
Meanwhile, the fans of Heart Evangelista are happy to see her social media feeds with Senator Chiz Escudero. It is because of the past issues surrounding their relationship. Apparently, the couple was able to patch things up and they have been sharing their fun moments together.
