FLOWER – A young woman received a flower from a random guy on Valentine’s Day: “A random guy gave me a flower.”
Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year, when couples around celebrate their love for one another. The exchange of presents is one of the most popular customs on this day, with flowers being a favored choice for many.
Flowers have always been used as a sign of love and affection, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. They are also the ideal present due to their beauty and scent.
A Facebook user named Harriet Toralba shared a photo of a random guy giving her a flower on Valentine’s Day. The post immediately went viral online and elicited comments from netizens.
In the photo, the random guy approached Toralba and gave her a flower all of a sudden. Harriet was alone during that time and kept seeing couples having their own gifts to each other.
After half an hour, the young woman was surprised when an anonymous guy gave her a flower. The guy’s gesture filled Toralba’s heart with overwhelming joy. The random man said that he just wanted to see her happy.
“I went to the university early for a 1pm class so I was looking for a place to stay inside since I was alone and I keep seeing couples having their own gifts to each other… Maybe half an hour of sitting, two guys came near where I was seated and thought that they will ask me to answer a survey or something hahaha!! Then after saying those words I can’t remember exactly (which I tweeted), he put a flower out of his bag and gave the flower,” Toralba said.
Harriet revealed that she was moved by the guy’s heartwarming gesture.
“It made me feel like being alone isn’t a bad thing because you will be able to meet people who can make you happy and feel loved. After receiving the flower, I kept thanking him and smiled at him,” she added.
