Janine Gutierrez shared one of her fondest memories with her Lolo

Kapamilya Janine Gutierrez revealed the story behind her heartwarming photos with her grandfather veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez.

Janine is one of the popular celebrities of this generation who came from a popular showbiz clan. In previous interviews, she shared that initially, she did not dream of being in the entertainment industry. However, her passion for acting grew eventually.

Janine is also aware of the pressure of being part of the Gutierrez clan. Her relatives, as well as her parents, have done a lot of remarkable projects.

In her recent Instagram post, she shared the conversation she had with the Gutierrez patriarch that made her happy as an actress. Janine Gutierrez shared two photos with her Lolo taken during the latter’s birthday party.

The first one showed that they have hugged each other tightly and the next one showed Janine’s wide smile while she was holding Eddie’s hand. In the caption of her post, the actress recalled a happy memory she had with her grandfather.

“Yung preschool ko malapit sa bahay ni lolo and I used to visit him all the time when I was a kid. Makiki-swimming or dalaw lang tapos bibigyan niya ko ng pang-Mcdo ko pauwi. Favorite line niya “long time no see” and always with the biggest smile,” Janine shared.

That day, the biggest smile on Eddie’s face was still there but their conversation was about life lately.

“Here, he told me he watches Dirty Linen. Nakangiting sinabi na magkasunod na Gutierrez daw ang nasa primetime,” she shared. Richard Gutierrez also has a currently-airing primetime series The Iron Heart.

Then, the actress said that she never aimed to surpass the achievement that her family has achieved in the entertainment industry. She said this reason, “because – hello, paano. imposible. – but I have always hoped to make them proud.”

With her Lolo’s smile, Janine Gutierrez can say that he was telling her that she is doing well. “Love you, Lolo! I look up to you always. Happy birthday again,” the actress added.
