Ruffa Gutierrez stressed that she is a freelancer
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez has this reiteration to bashers as she is doing shows on different TV networks.
Ruffa spent more than a year doing shows on ABS-CBN before she was seen on ALLTV’s launch in September 2022. Later on, it was announced that she is having a show, Mhies on a Mission, with Mariel Padilla and Ciara Sotto.
With this, negative reactions were expressed against Ruffa. Previously, the actress confirmed that their ALLTV show will take a halt and the management of AMBS talked to them about this. She stressed that it was not a goodbye but a sort of see you later.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Ruffa Gutierrez addressed the negative reactions to the decision of ALLTV to temporarily stop the airing of its shows. It is known to many that the frequency being used by Manny Villar’s TV network was previously occupied by ABS-CBN.
“I’m a freelancer naman kasi. So, you know I mean, I just want to ano the people kasi na parang… bina-bash din ako, nasasali ako dun sa pagba-bash. Kung may hatred sila towards other people, parang yung 5 percent, nadadamay ako, si Ciara saka si Mariel. I’d like to only speak for myself,” Ruffa said.
She stressed that she had a show on the Kapamilya network when it was ordered to shut down. Ruffa also expressed that she is grateful to ABS-CBN for the shows the network has given to her, especially during the pandemic.
“I was at ABS-CBN when it was shut down. I was doing Love Thy Woman. So, nandoon ako at nakisimpatiya. Nakiiyak din ako noon. But you know, di naman tayo puwedeng… anong gagawin natin, magra-rally tayo sa gitna ng kalye, di ba? You have to continue to work,” the actress said.
Ruffa Gutierrez also shared that she has a good relationship with ABS-CBN. Her brother Richard Gutierrez is currently doing a series on the Kapamilya network titled The Iron Heart.
The actress also shared that she will start a project on another network and will have a guesting, as well as an offer from another network but she has not shared yet the details about this.
