Judy Ann Santos has a reunion project with Sam Milby
Queen of Philippine Soap Opera Judy Ann Santos revealed the reason why she accepted the movie project with Acoustic Heartthrob Sam Milby.
Juday and Sam first work together in the 2013 Kapamilya series Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala. After many years, they will reunite onscreen with the horror-drama thriller movie The Diary of Mrs. Winters.
The last horror film that Jusay did was T’yanak in 2014. Juday took a break from doing soap operas and movies for quite some time, especially amid the pandemic. Now, she is ready to showcase her acting caliber once again, especially to her fans who have been waiting for her acting comeback.
Based on the Twitter posts shared by Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, a media conference was held on February 7 for Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby’s movie project.
The reporter shared that 80 percent of the movie will be shot in Canada, in the middle of heavy snow weather. During the interview, Juday shared the reason why she said yes to this project.
The prominent actress admitted that there was a push-and-pull scenario before she came up with her final decision. She cited the reason the fact that it is her first time working with Direk Rayhan as one of the main reasons why she accepted the offer. Writer Ricky Lee was also one of the reasons.
She also said that 2023 is about facing fears and challenges, so she wants to overcome her fear of snow and winter. Juday said that she wants to enjoy spending time with her kids who love snow and winter.
The actress also highlighted the fact that she is turning 45 years old this year and she is reaching her 37th year in the entertainment industry. Judy Ann Santos said that this is a sort of celebration for her birthday and her showbiz anniversary.
