Family Bursts Into Tears After Domestic Helper Leaves to Find Happiness
A loving family gets emotional and bursts into tears while bidding farewell to a domestic helper who served them for six years.
Nowadays, a lot of domestic helpers have been already a part of their employer’s family and it is quite bittersweet for them to part ways after years of being together. Most of them probably get a low salary but their service is priceless.
The majority of domestic helpers are also required to look after the children, keep the house clean, and perform other duties such as cooking and even grocery shopping.
A Facebook user named Mengli Tan has shared the video footage of her family crying after their domestic helper for six years leaves to find her own happiness. The video garnered various reactions from internet users.
In the video, the Singaporean family including young children gets emotional and cries as a domestic helper left of her own volition. The family wished that she could stay for a little bit longer but she refused to do so.
The domestic helper also cried while bidding farewell to the family. She even kissed the little kids on their foreheads and cheeks before leaving. However, the employer did not reveal the reason why the helper leaves.

“Thank you for working hard for this family for 6 years. Now, you are going to find your own happiness. I wish you all the best in the future. I am really reluctant (to let you leave),” Tan wrote on her Facebook page.
“You have taken care of my daughter since she was born until she started primary school this year. Thank you for treating my child like your own child. Thank you for raising us to become chubby in the past 6 years and cooking us a lot of delicious food.”
