Pokwang has been sharing snippets of why her relationship with Lee O’Brian ended
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang had these revelations about her struggles when she and her former partner Lee O’Brian were together.
Pokie and Lee’s breakup was confirmed last year. The public perception after the breakup was that they are on good terms even though they separated. It was because the comedienne would still share photos and videos of Lee’s bonding moments with their daughter Malia.
Pokie even defended Lee from bashers who said that he is just a “palamunin.” However, in recent replies that she had to netizens commenting about her breakup with her former partner, the comedienne started to reveal negative things about him.
She said that she has been providing for Lee for six years already and he has not given any child support for five years. In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of Ogie Diaz, he confirmed this as his “kumare” Pokwang opened up to him about her problem with Lee O’Brian.
Pokie said that she and Lee are not on good terms and she just tried to paint a good image for her former partner to other people. Ogie shared that Lee was not also a sweet person toward Pokie. The comedienne revealed that for the six years that they were together, she only received flowers from Lee once and it was just because her daughter Mare was the one who gave her first.
“Parang nahiya na lang,” Ogie shared. The talent manager-vlogger also shared that Pokie has been receiving warnings from her friends that Lee does not love her for real, but she still defended him.
Pokie also shared that Lee has been denying that he is already seeing someone else but Malia caught her father with another girl. Based on Malia’s description, the said woman who is with Lee now was also the woman who was seen with Lee last year.
Ogie also shared that he and Pokie would just talk over the phone and the latter would frequently cry. “Mare, one year na along umiiyak kasi umaasa pa rin ako na mabubuo ang pamilya namin pero mas pinili niya yata ang babae na yun, so soon na lang siya,” the comedienne told her friend.
When Ogie asked Pokie if she still loves Lee, she said that “anger” is what she feels now toward her former partner. It is because all her effort to cover him up were put to waste. Pokwang shared that she and her siblings had a fight because she was trying to defend Lee.
