Lifeless Pinay Transgender Discovered Inside Hotel in New York City
Police authorities discovered a Pinay transgender lying and allegedly lifeless inside a hotel in New York City.
On January 19, the New York Police Department responded to a 911 call and discovered a 47-year-old victim unconscious in a hotel bed at 16 East 39th St. in New York City. The deceased was eventually identified as Rodolfo Mañacap Jr. by the Philippine Consulate General in New York.
Mañacap has been missing for some days, according to the report. According to his acquaintances, he is also known as transsexual Pinay Olivia Snow. There were no evident signs of trauma on his body, according to investigators.
An autopsy will be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to ascertain the cause of death. Senen Mangalile, Consul General of the Philippines, stated that the consulate is in communication with the authorities.
“We are waiting for the results of the investigation that is being carried out at the moment. We have been in touch with the family and we have assured them that the consulate is here to support and to extend whatever assistance they need. It is a sad and unfortunate thing that happened but we will get to the bottom of why and how it happened,” Mangalile said.
Based on the report, the Philippine Consulate is also working on funeral arrangements and repatriation for Mañacap. Mangalile stated that this is part of the government’s commitment.
“Tutulong po ang konsulado kung ano man ang kayang itulong sa paguwi ng labi ng ating kababayan na nasawi sa NY at yun po ay bahagi ng commitment ng ating gobyerno,” added the consul general.
Mañacap was last seen in New Orleans, attending Miss Universe pageant festivities, according to friends and social media posts.
