The Homtom S99 was released on May 3, 2018. The smartphone is available in four colors: Black, White, Gray, and Blue. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 6200 mAh battery.

The dimension of the phone is 70.0 x 149.5 x 12.8 mm and weighs 200 grams. It is built with an aluminum alloy and plastic. It comes with a screen size of 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1400 pixels.
Platform:
The device is powered by Mediatek MT6750T (28 nm) Octa-core processor coupled with an ARM Mali-T860 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. It is packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 256GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
Homtom S99 sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 21-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensor. It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, exposure compensation, face detection, geotagging, HDR, ISO settings, panorama, scene mode, and self-timer.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 13-megapixel camera.
