Cassy Legaspi has this answer when asked about Darren Espanto
Kapuso actress Cassy Legaspi revealed the real score between her and Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto.
For several instances, Cassy and Darren were spotted having their bonding moments. This somehow made their fans think that there is something romantic going on between them.
To recall, even Cassy’s mother, actress Carmina Villarroel, shared positive feedback about Darren. Actor Zoren Legaspi, the father of Cassy, even shared a video of her daughter with a man, who netizens thought was Darren.
In several interviews, the Kapamilya singer shared the fondness and closeness that he has with the Kapuso actress. He even shared details of his Batangas trip with Cassy Legaspi last year.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the Kapuso actress was asked about the real score between her and Darren Espanto. She said that it is hard to explain but what she knows is that they are really close. Cassy added that it is like Darren is her best friend and she is his best friend as well.
Since she is consistent in saying that she and Darren are best friends, she was asked if she is willing to go to the next level of their relationship.
“I guess, as of now kasi—legit answer ito as in—I’m very focused sa career ko kasi I feel lang I’m just starting it. Ito yung first movie ko, first musical and all of that, so I want to focus sa career ko,” the actress answered.
Cassy added that right now, she wants to build herself first before going to the next level when it comes to her love life. “We’re just enjoying each other’s company so much na we don’t wanna think about anything else,” she further explained.
On the other hand, the Kapuso actress admitted that Darren Espanto is boyfriend material. “I can say yes. Very, very selfless, very caring siya. And he really puts others before himself. That’s what I really like about him,” Cassy Legaspi said.
The 22-year-old actress added that her “best friend” is a gentleman. When asked what she will do if Darren will decide to court other girls, Cassy said that she is not in the position to decide what the singer would want to do in his life but she will support whatever makes him happy.
