Sunshine Dizon Returns To GMA After Short Stint In ABS-CBN

Sunshine Dizon stressed that she does not burn bridges

Actress Sunshine Dizon has officially returned to GMA after her short stint as a Kapamilya.

Sunshine started her career in the entertainment industry on the Kapuso network. After 25 years, she announced her transfer to ABS-CBN last April 2021. After her contract signing she did several guest appearances in different Kapamilya shows.

The first major project that she did as a Kapamilya was the series Marry Me, Marry You with Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino, who also came from GMA. The drama series aired from September 2021 until January 2022.

After that project, Sunshine did not have a follow-up TV series. Just recently, a Twitter fan account Chakapuso Renegade shared a post stating that Sunshine Dizon is set to return to GMA via the Mga Lihim Ni Urduja TV series.

“@m_sunshinedizon is back where it all began. Abangan ang kaniyang Kapuso comeback via upcoming action-adventure series #MgaLihimNiUrduja this February on GMA Telebabad,” the caption of the post stated.

In the comment section of the said post, Sunshine wrote a comment which appeared to be an answer to the now-deleted comment that she burned bridges. The actress said that she can work with anyone and she also has the option not to work.

“Wag “pong kuda ng kuda hindi mo alam ang real story. wala akong na burn na bridge. I can work with anyone i want to work with. I can also choose not to work kung gusto ko. Wag masyadong nag MAMARUNONG. TY [hand with index finger and thumb crossed emoji],” the actress wrote. In her reply, the actress did not contradict the announcement about her return to the Kapuso network.
