Resident Appeals for Road Repair from LGU After Allegedly Damaged by Dinosaur
A bothered resident appeals to the local government unit (LGU) for road repair in their area after allegedly being damaged by a dinosaur.
A local resident named Ronalyn Cabañero makes a complaint with the Sangguniang Bayan Office in Pavia, Iloilo, over road damage in her area. The road was destroyed by a stray “dinosaur,” according to her rant on social media.
The road in the picture uploaded by Panay News is uneven and full of potholes, which are claimed to resemble dinosaur footprints. Ronalyn wonders if the dinosaur will be caught and the road will be fixed because the locals, particularly the young people going by on their way to school, are experiencing difficulties.
Although joking, she laments that the road will be even more difficult to cross if the rain persists. In a formal letter to Municipal Mayor Laurence Anthony Gorriceta, she requested that actions be taken to restore their road since it is unsafe for residents.
Potholes and road degradation are frequent in the Philippines. They’re common on roads that haven’t been maintained in a long time. Some of the potholes on the road are the size of moon craters, while others are getting worse and larger as more traffic passes through them.
As the damage causes the potholes to become deeper, your vehicle becomes a safety hazard and can drain your cash. When the pavement deteriorates and produces a hole, this type of road problem occurs. Weather conditions, heavy traffic, and a lack of maintenance can all contribute to it.
