Kylie Padilla did a movie with Star Magic
Will Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla transfer to Star Magic? This question arose after she did a movie with Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson.
Last year, Kylie and Gerald went to Switzerland to shoot the movie Unravel. This is the first time they worked together on a film. Although intrigues surfaced between them, the Kapuso actress and the Kapamilya actor were able to shrug off the speculations about them.
To recall, rumors surfaced that a romantic relationship was formed between them while filming abroad. It was also alleged that the actress was pregnant with her child with the actor. These issues were clarified already.
Just recently, another clarification was made and it was done by Direk Lauren Dyogi, who is also the head of Star Magic. He said that Kylie Padilla just did a movie with Star Magic and Mavx Productions, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
Kylie is under the management of Sparkle GMA Artist Center. “Baka kasi may magtanong dyan, ‘Is Kylie switching to Star Magic?’ No. We have the honor and Gerald had the honor to work with Kylie,” the ABS-CBN executive stressed.
Direk Lauren said that it was Mavx Productions’ decision to choose Kylie as the leading lady of Gerald Anderson in the said movie. “Sila ‘yung may hawak nung material. Kabisado nila kung saan nila dadalhin ‘yung proyekto. It was not really a difficult decision to make,” he explained.
The Kapamilya executive also said that Kylie is a good actress and she is a perfect match for Gerald. He also pointed out that the Kapamilya actor and the Kapuso actress have good chemistry. “It’s no brainer to consider Kylie,” he added.
Kylie Padilla also said that she still can’t believe that she was paired with Gerald. She said that she has been a supporter as she has seen the actor’s previous projects. The actress also said that it is an honor for him to work with someone she admires. “Hanggang ngayon talaga, parang ‘di ako makapaniwala. I learned a lot,” she said.
