FL Liza Marcos Warns Individuals Trying to Get Gov’t Position Using Her Name

First Lady Liza Marcos warned the individuals allegedly using her name to be appointed for a government position.

Mrs. Marcos could not keep silent about persons using her name to gain a position in the government. The word that she has a connection to the newly appointed officials in the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) appears to have reached the First Lady.

The First Lady expressed her warning in a selfie video. The president’s wife stated that she simply wants everyone to know that she has nothing to do with ISAFP and does not know the individuals involved.

She said, “I just want everyone to know that I have nothing to with ISAFP, I don’t know the people involved. I have nothing to do with the appointments, I leave it up to my husband.”

She further stated that if she discovers that someone is using her name, she will personally inform her husband, President Bongbong Marcos, that she will not appoint to the job. Mrs. Marcos did not identify them, but she stated that she was tired of these types of people.

“And if I found out that somebody is using my name, I shall tell my husband not to appoint you, okay? I hope this is clear. I am sick and tired of people using my name,” she said in the video.

Brig Gen Leonel Nicolas, who took over as acting chief of ISAFP last October, is the most recent appointment. Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles, and Commission on Audit Chair Jose Calida all resigned from the Marcos administration last year.
