PARKING FEE – Seaside Dampa restaurant in Pasay City reportedly charges P500 parking fee to non-customers who will occupy the parking space.
Last month, Seaside Dampa in Pasay City goes viral online due to alleged overcharging to their customers after Dennis Padilla complained when the restaurant charged P38,000 for their orders.
The Pinoy comedian has also urged government agencies to investigate and check the restaurant for overcharging.
The Facebook account James Deakin has shared the photo of signage placed in front of Seaside Dampa in Pasay City informing non-customers should pay P500 upon using the parking lot. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photo, the signage informs the public that non-customers should pay P500 if they decided to park at Seaside Dampa. According to some netizens, vehicle owners have to pay an additional amount P300 per exceeding hour.
Some internet users defended the restaurant’s decision because the management was just prioritizing their real customers and they have the right to charge fees to their non-customers.
“I guess it was referring to non-customers, strategies siguro nila para walang mag park na iba to give prior to their real customers,” the netizen wrote.
Seaside Dampa is popular for offering fresh kinds of seafood and ‘paluto’ restaurants.
