Ogie Alcasid Receives Christmas Tree as a Christmas Gift from Regine Velasquez
Ogie Alcasid shares he received a Christmas tree from his singer wife Regine Velasquez-Alacasid as a Christmas gift.
Ogie Alcasid, a veteran singer, recalled a memorable gift he received from his wife Regine. Regine, according to Ogie, gave him the Christmas gift that made him cry.
The Ultimate Singer-Songwriter recalls the most memorable holiday gift he ever got this past Christmas. Ogie revealed to the audience in an episode of “It’s Showtime” his surprise when Regine handed him a Christmas tree.
“Naaalala ko noong mga panahong mag-isa lang ako, kasi nahiwalay ako hindi ba? Si Regine dinalhan niya ako ng Christmas tree sa bahay ko. Kasi wala akong Christmas tree. Iyak ako nang iyak,” the TV host-singer recalls.
He said during the show, “Yun ang pinaka-memorable gift sa akin ng partner ko na ngayon ay asawa ko na.”
The celebrity pair also celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary last week. They congratulated each other on social media, which was crowded with their fans and industry friends.
Regine congratulated her husband, “After 12 years kinikilig pa rin ako. After 12 years ikaw pa rin pinakapogi. After 12 years tawang tawa pa rin ako sayo. After 12 years umiiyak pa rin ako pag umaalis ka. After 12 years mas mahal pa kita kesa noon. Happy Anniversary Baba @ogiealcasid.”
Regine and Ogie got married on December 22, 2010, at Terrazas de Punta Fuego located in Nasugbu, Batangas. They are blessed with one son, Nate.
