James Reid has “no regrets” when it comes to relationships that ended
Actor-singer James Reid was asked if he regretted breaking up with an ex-girlfriend and this was his answer.
James rose to fame through ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother. With his looks and charm, he was able to establish his name in the entertainment industry. He became part of the love team JaDine with Nadine Lustre who also became his girlfriend in real life.
The JaDine breakup created a loud buzz in showbiz. However, James and Nadine garnered admiration from many people after they broke up because they did not say nasty words to each other. They even remained friends and worked together for quite some time through James’s record label Careless Music.
However, in a recent statement, Nadine Lustre said that she is no longer in contact with James Reid and she also left his record label. Despite that breakup and the past breakups that he had, James said that there is nothing that he regretted, based on the article in PEP.
“When you’re feeling lonely after a breakup, like with all the relationships that I’ve had, there’s been moments when I completely question everything. When you’re at your low moments, I think that’s also very natural. But in the end, I really don’t regret anything. I just don’t live with regret,” the actor-singer said.
Regret is not something that he wants in his life and he would rather accept what has happened. “And it really shaped who I am. I just don’t want to live with any regret,” he added.
James Reid also shared that he learned a lot from love. He said that in the past, love for him is being understood by someone but this has changed already. “I also kind of realized being understood by someone and then it turned into a commitment, like that’s what love meant to me, that it’s really a choice,” he shared.
The actor-singer said it is evolving and he is learning about this every day. He also acknowledges the fact that love can be complicated and that is why he loves to write about this.
