Ogie Alcasid talked about this gift that he received from his wife
Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid revealed the most memorable gift that he received from his wife Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Regine and Ogie have been together for more than a decade now. They are blessed with a son named Nate. It is known to many showbiz fans what they went through in pursuing their love for each other.
Over the years, their relationship has become stronger and their fans are definitely happy about this.
Before getting married to Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid shared a moment when he was really sad. However, this was changed because of the gesture that the Asia’s Songbird did back then.
During a recent episode of Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime, based on the article in Bandera, Ogie recalled the time that he really cried because of the gift he received from Regine. At that time, Ogie was alone and an unexpected gift came to him.
“Naaalala ko noong mga panahong mag-isa lang ako, kasi nahiwalay ako hindi ba? Si Regine dinalhan niya ako ng Christmas tree sa bahay ko. Kasi wala akong Christmas tree. Iyak ako nang iyak,” Ogie shared. He said that it was the most memorable gift that he received from his then-partner who is now his wife.
The couple celebrated their 12th anniversary and last week, they greeted each other through their social media posts. Ogie said that it was indeed a blessing for him to sing with his wife during their anniversary. Regine, on the other hand, said that even after 12 years, she still feels the same happiness and love for her husband.
Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid tied the knot on December 22, 2010, at Terrazas de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas.
