Rabiya Mateo has survived the year 2022
Kapuso actress Rabiya Mateo said that she is thankful that she was able to survive her “silent battles” this 2022.
Rabiya rose to fame after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 competition. From being a beauty queen from Iloilo City, she became part of Sparkle GMA Artist Center. Now, she is part of the show TicktoClock with Kim Atienza and Pokwang.
New opportunities came her way this year but it does not mean that everything is a sweet melody. Rabiya also went through intrigues and definitely she is not sharing everything with the public when it comes to her personal life.
In a short interview posted on Sparkle’s Instagram Page, Rabiya Mateo said that she is most thankful for surviving the silent battles she went through.
“Alam ko bilang artista usually ‘yung buhay namin, it’s an open book. Pero this time parang may mga problems ako na I was able to solve on my own and I feel like I am much stronger in handling these things,” she shared.
Going through those tough times made her learn lessons that she will definitely keep. “Nagpapasalamat ako sa maturity na mayroon ako at nakuha ko this 2022,” the beauty queen-turned actress added.
Meanwhile, just recently, Rabiya’s reply to a basher calling her “cheap” caught the attention of many netizens. It was on her TikTok video. She said that being expensive-looking is not the sole vital thing. Rabiya Mateo highlighted the importance of being kind to other people.
She also stressed that she is proud of who she is and how she dressed up. Most importantly she can boast about how she would treat other people because she is not being rude to others.
