Aiko Melendez and Jay Khonghun have been together for 5 years now
Actress-politician Aiko Melendez was asked about her wedding plans with her boyfriend Zambales First District Representative Jay Khonghun.
Aiko and Jay’s relationship is getting stronger. They are together for five years already and it is not surprising that their friends and people around them would anticipate that they will be going to the next level soon.
During Aiko’s birthday party just recently, she was asked by her manager Ogie Diaz if they would hear wedding bells soon now that she is already 47 years old. The talent manager-vlogger shared this on his recent Showbiz Update vlog.
“Ayokong manggaling sa akin ‘yun. Di ba, syempre babae pa rin ako,” Aiko Melendez said. Ogie jokingly said, “ay babae ka pala, Aiko?” The actress answered in jest as well, saying yes and he is a witness of this many times already.
Then, Ogie shared that if Jay will be asked about this, he already wants to get married to Aiko but there are things to be settled first, like the congressman’s previous marriage.
Aiko and Ogie have been friends for many years already. Then the talent manager talked about his “inaanak” Marthena, the daughter of the actress. Ogie asked Aiko if her daughter has plans to enter showbiz also.
The actress-politician said that as of now, since Marthena is focused on playing volleyball, she has not thought of entering showbiz yet. However, Aiko said that she will support whatever her daughter wants to pursue. Marthena is Aiko’s daughter with her ex-husband celebrity chef Martin Jickain.
Ogie Diaz once again greeted Aiko Melendez. “Happy birthday Aiko. Syempre and wish ko sa’yo ay good health at syempre maraming salamat sa friendship mo. I love you, alam mo yan,” the talent manager-vlogger said.
