Showbiz veteran Liza Lorena advised younger stars to be respectful to their colleagues, especially when they come late to the set.

Just recently, the issue of being latecomer younger stars is the talk of the town. Veteran and seasoned stars have expressed their thoughts on those younger stars who come on the set late and without even showing respect to their seniors.

My Teacher stars Carmi Martin and Joey de Leon, shared their experiences when it comes to this. Carmi said that she really reprimanded the younger star who came late to the set and did not even say sorry. Joey shared that he really discontinued the airing of his show in the past due to latecomers.

In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Family Matters star Liza Lorena shared her advice with the younger stars. The veteran actress highlighted the importance of professionalism.

She also stressed that they should learn how to apologize when they come late to the set. “Matutong mag-sorry pag late. Marunong gumalang, mag-good morning pag dumating, at maging pleasant sa lahat, sa staff and crew especially,” Liza said.

The veteran actress also said that if one’s career is down but the industry loves that artist, there is always a way for a comeback. “Pero kung hindi maganda ang ugali mo… lahat sila, gustong mawala ka na,” she added.

Meanwhile, Liza Lorena said that she will not be retiring from the entertainment industry. She said that as long as she is useful and can do her job, she will be in showbiz.

The veteran actress added that showbiz is her husband because she never got married. “Ito ang aking asawa, ang aking trabaho,” she said. Liza is the mother of seasoned actor Tonton Gutierrez.
